Sri Prakasa (3 August 1889–23 June 1971) was a well known leader in the struggle for Indian independence from the British. After independence he served as the first High Commissioner to Pakistan and later served as the Governor of Assam, Madras State and Bombay state. He also served as a cabinet minister in the ministry of Jawaharlal Nehru from 1950-52.
